I am a Wedge fan as well. Love his charachter (A good man who saves the galaxy with out the force yet does not have an ego like Corran) He is also in my opinion the fourth best pliot in the galaxy with only Anakin Skywalker,Luke Skywalker and Baron Fel better pliots.

 

Wedge rocks! That quote from Tycho shows just how much respect everyone in the Star Wars universe and this one have for him. Wedge for president? He gets my vote! And I think bumper stickers are a great idea. I wonder if we could make it happen. Anyway,

Not only is he a great military commander, one of the very best pilots, terrific friend, amazing wit and the one of the funniest guys, he's a totally ordinary dude (read non-Force sensitive) and his intelligence is one short of amazing!!!!

He also has his own (well, he thinks) shortcomings. I think he's still a pretty darned good diplomat, and he's well and truly earned the respect bestowed upon him by the NR and Empire alike!
