Welcome back old friend! I remember fondly how we talked about those things back in 2014. So long ago!

 

I think what amazes me the most is how different everything is in 2015 compared to the old days of 2014. Music's completely changed. Fashion is very different. Computers and smartphones are everywhere in 2015!

 

It's true, trends really do change over that amount of time. I remember in 2014 I used to receive a lot of Facebook invitations to Candy Crush. Haha, the good old days! Nowadays, I just get invitations to Candy Crush Soda Saga.

I'm glad to see trophy points and likes come around. See, back in the old days, they were a thing, and now they are also a thing. The circle of life!

 

Does anyone remember listening to Serial? I remember there was a thread about it.

 

I do! I think I discovered it in those heady days when the trailer for TFA (to think we used to just call it "Episode VII!" ) was first released.

 

Yes. I recall someone making a thread for it even though there was already a thread for podcasts. That was very upsetting.

 

Well back in those old days, when we were around and somehow better than the people who joined since, things were very different. You can't compare what was acceptable back then to what's acceptable now.

I mean, back in 2014 none of us expected this place would still be around in 2015. It's amazing it's lasted.

I was amazed too that I remembered my password, username, or any of that. I joined in the days before Apple owned Beats by Dre, to give you an idea of how long ago it was, and it's a long time to remember a password!

 

I'd forgotten Apple purchased Beats by Dre! Who was the former owner? Lost in the mists of time for me!

 

This place really was better in 2014.

Yes! I had a manual signature with a blue bladed lightsaber.

Manual signatures were so creative, unless they were describing LA sports teams.
