ST How many stars do you predict you'll give TFA next week?

Ok, everyone. Going underground until I see the movie, just a precaution to avoid spoilers and the like. When I return, we shall see the merit of my prediction.

Aaaaannddd seen it!


Overall, loved it. Fun, mostly well paced (middle section perhaps a bit slow, but momentum picks up nicely after), solid story albeit some plot shortcomings and a few unnecessary echoes from the classic era, I really enjoyed it. I predict that the post-cool down for this film will be similar to Phantom Menace. Some will walk out with tears of glee, some will walk out somewhat divided but the final verdict won't set in for a few months. Not because it does anything that is particularly bad or infuriating, but by looking at the audience it was easy to identify some mixed emotions. Especially since a lot of them seemed to be sitting through the credits, almost waiting for something a little more.

For me...3.5-4 out of 5.

The Skyfall of the Star Wars Universe if you will.
