These threads make me wonder at the age of our audience. Tho, seriously, they worked and lived within eyeshot of each other. Probably loads of lunch hour quickies. Padme coukd see the temple from the living room and the Senate is even closer.

 

If swtor is anything to go by, every time they walk off screen, the screen goes black for more than five seconds, then they walk back.

 

I imagine they enjoyed as much sex as most premarital couples. Meaning, absolutely any time and every time neither character appears on screen at once. Shoot, I'm sure they banged many many times before the arena battle, and between every costume change in AOTC. Why do you think she had to change her costume so many times anyway? It's like Han and Leia on the Falcon in ESB. You just know they had to have done it a lot to get from that awkward first kiss to "You do have your moments".

The truth is that it doesn't matter-as long as their was love-and there was.

 

They had to be doing it often enough for Anakin to know that the baby was his since I doubt that her pregnancy could and would have lasted for three or so years. Remember, if you watch TCW, in Senate Spy the opening scenes have Anakin returning from war bringing dinner and the Skywalkers seemed to have a romantic dinner and how they were acting it most likely was a prelude to a delightful evening; until Anakin realizes that he can't ignore the Council's attempts to reach him. I mean the next day Padme is acting a bit like a jilted lover.

Bonus Question: why didnt they use protection, especially Padme since she was scared at the begining when she got pregnant.?

 

I'm pretty sure Padme was faithful to Anakin and that he didn't cheat him with Clovis.

I wasn't trying to say that she was cheating on him but that they didn't do IT just once on their Wedding Night.

As for whether or not they used Protection maybe they did or did not. One of my sisters and her husband charted her cycle and planned accordingly for a year and now their first child is due in late December. And at least in RL Birth Control isn't foolproof.
