Haven't seen this thread yet, just curious is all, it probably cost me less than many people as I live really near (Reading) and get a discount for Travel Inn as I work for Whitbread, I would like to see how much it cost for people who had to come far.

    Anyway:
    Hotel for 2 nights £83
    Food £40
Train and Tube Fare there and back £33
    3 Day pass £55
    Mark Hamill Autograph £88
    Other Autographs £89
    Belt from Correlian Imports £100
    Other Merchandise (mainly comics) £90

    Total £578

I'm too scared to tally-up my spending output [face_worried]
Plus, CE cost me a lot of my strength and most of my voice with all the work I put in months before and during the show to get everything sorted :p

Let's just say, if I had paid it all at once and without the money I got on Christmas/Birthday, I'd be broke now ;)

Honestly, I don't want to count all the money I spent. All I know is that I have to do a loooong diet to get all the money back I spent. :p

Like Jedi1 about a grand for:

    4 Nights at Crowne Plaza,
    1 x Train fare and 2 x zone 1-4 travel cards,
    1 x 3 Day pass,
Food & drink over 4 days,
    8 x Autographs, 1 fine Art Print,
Various Star Wars Purchases etc, etc.

I had been saving for sometime with the intention of going to CIV but it became beyond my budget when it moved from Indianapolis to LA so I was delighted when Celebration Europe was announced.

Um... yeah. I wasn't in Europe just for CE, since I was in Paris and then sightseeing around London beforehand, so this cost is not just for the convention itself, but the entire trip cost me in excess of US$2000. Airfare alone was about $1000. Needless to say, I wasn't buying anything in either the official store or the merchant area. :p

I'm rather curious what the other Americans in attendance spent, so we can commiserate if nothing else. :p

the hotel was for 4 nights - £300 for 4 nights 'entertainment' = £75 per night

lets just say had some interesting evenings ;) some photo's that won't result in a ban are on here !!
not complaining too much as I don't tend to go in for autographs, so money well spent & lots of new friends made :D

Now I got you about how you manage to spend only 300£. ;) :p

But there's still one question... which hotel was so cheap that you just had to pay 20.75£ per night? I do have to remember that hotel. ;)
