How much did Luke find out...?

    How much exactly did Luke find out about the past and about his father? Did Obi-Wan tell him all of what we see in the PT, or did he hold something back? Surely Luke must have been extremly curious about the life of Anakin.

    Owen always lied to him

    and Ben doesn't appear outside the instances we see in the movie
    so everything told in the CT is what Luke knows about Anakin
    a few more details here and there, but that's it basically

    Luke doesn't really know much in that dept. Owen really sucked. He should have told him the whole truth so that he could decide for himself what to do. Then again, maybe Luke would not want to leave Tattooine and there would be no movie.
