I'd be fine with a movie per year, but I will miss the uniqueness of a SW being released in theaters tough.

All that stuff is OK, but I draw the line at the flamethrowers. (Even though the kids love those.)

After the past 32 years - there can never be enough. Even though I don't moderately take in the prequels or modern EU - I still have vintage material, new special features on box sets, some new merch to buy and geared for the ST. If the ST comes to a great conclusion with Episode IX - I can pack up and leave it all behind and still hold that fandom close.

Movie, book, comic, game, whatever-wise I am not there yet.
Clone Wars (Anakin and Obi-Wan), and some stories with the Big 3.
A 2nd Clone Wars tv series and other things in the era is too much. If they didn't focus on Anakin and Obi-Wan then fine.
After following the Big for more than 40 years IU, it is time for them to retire. Earlier eras are fine except for 1st year after Yavin.
    Also Denning.

I remember when the first trailer for TPM was released, people would line up for whatever movie it was attached to, go in, watch the trailer and walk out. Lucas then joked he was considering releasing TPM in two minute clips. I think I'd be pissed, but it'd be interesting to see them do something like that.

Oversaturation is an issue a little different that "Too Much Star Wars". In theory oversaturation = Market cant take any more, whereas "Too Much Strar Wars" is a subjective term that may never be reached in some fans mind even if the market is oversturated.

Bazinga'd Note: Just curious, but whats the point of the last two poll responses. They seem non sequitur and nonsensical?

I believe the answer may be in the question.

Anyway, yes, I think there may be a thing as too much Star Wars. Luckily, I have other franchises to turn to for a break.

'How much Star Wars is too much Star Wars?'

Hmm. I believe there's a law that makes it illegal to utter this question in public. :p

Personally, I desire quality when it comes to Star Wars. However, if the caliber should diminish in the future, I still won't abandon the franchise as a whole. At this point, I adore way too many aspects of Star Wars for it to ever become tarnished. Additionally, I don't believe a drop in quality would even hurt the entity that is Star Wars. Like I said, I prefer quality over quantity, but does that go for everyone? Even those who agree can have a different opinion about what constitutes 'quality'. The more Disney cranks out material, the more people will eat it up. Star Wars has become sustenance. And if someone is hungry, that person will seek nourishment. A meal will be accepted, regardless of how the food is presented, especially when people have differing tastes. Ultimately, the fact that Star Wars can be looked upon as a source of strength is a positive reality. Of course, that's just my opinion. :)
