how nom anor should die...

in my opinion anyway...
i think that luke should be the one to kill him
but not in some even battle or anything
i think that nom anor should somehow threaten ben, and then luke would protect him
but it should be one sided, having luke return to his old kick-ass form
besides it doesnt seem that nom anor would be much of a fighter
this way he could save his son and get justice for his wife almost dying all in one

 

Nom Anor would not instigate a fight in which his loss is guaranteed (like it would be against Luke in the situation you describe). Anor would connive, deceive and conspire behind your backs. That's just who he is. A slippery fellow... Of course he wouldn't fight on Duro against Mara & Jaina either because he knew he would die if he did.

 

i dont mean he would instigate the fight, because youre right he definitely doesnt do that unless he is assured of a victory
im saying like, perhaps he attempts to infect ben with the same disease he did to mara or something along those lines
and luke catches him in the act or so
nom anor would have to realize that luke would be crushed if anything happened to ben, the same way he was when it happened to mara
perhaps luke is able to pull the jedi back together, and then anor sees this and wants to hurt the leader of the jedi
he does seem a bit obsessed with the jedi, so if the jedi were able to become unified and start working as a unit, anor would be the one who tries to stop it

Anor will attack at Ben and Mara will defend him thus kill Anor.

One of the themes of the two hardcovers has been Mara vs. Anor as a subplot.

 

I don't know how Nom Anor WILL die, but how he SHOULD die...

Give him (and the other high ranking Vong who might take his place) that virus that transforms Vong into Shamed Ones, let everyone find out, and, while confusion reigns, let someone sweep in and wipe out the Vong, except for the real Shamed Ones, who should join the NR or something.

For the longest time, I've been saying it would be someone in the Solo/Skywalker family, with Mara first and Luke second. He made it personal by infecting Mara. Now with what happens in SBS, it's more personal than ever, and I'd put Leia in third place.

And to guarantee that he will fight, I'd say create a ring of Jedi, with Nom Amor and his opponent in the ring. Lightsaber vs. amphistaff. If Nom Amor tries to escape by attacking someone making up the ring, he gets pushed by by Force wave. (Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon used this to hurl back the Trade Federation droids in TPM)

 

He should sneeze, fall off the ledge of a coruscant balcony and be impailed on the skywalker family dog.
And then eatin by a pregnant Mara.

i definitely think it will be luke or mara
im hoping it ends up being luke, because his charactor needs it more than mara's
it seems the other solos have a beef with him as well but, if anor dies, luke or mara have the greatest reason to hate him and kill him
in my opinion its just better storytelling to have luke or mara do it

 

I hope he doesn't die. I like the idea that he escapes, free to wrech vengeance again

I SO hope that was a joke 'cause his "always-survivingthing" is killing me! most hopefully he would be the one who makes sure that the vong are defeated, in a really clumsy and unhonorable way.

 

No joke. I dont want the Vong to just dissapear, but thatd mean theyd win. But a self centered master of disguise could start again. Maybe creat an army. Interesting next plot

Why are we so anxious to kill Nom Anor? After Shedao, he's the most interesting Vong in NJO.

hes definitely a good charactor
but justice wont be done for luke or mara if he isnt killed

 

Mon Mothma should be cloned into a vast army to hunt down and destroy this annoying character.
