How often should banners be rotated here?

Stryphe and I would like to inject some fun into the PT forum by allowing rotating banners. We would also like to involve the PT user base in this process. What do YOU think we should do as far as banner rotation frequency?

Since the ROTS forum banner is roated like everyday, this one should be too

 

I'll say every three days at least until the PT forum gets more banners. If say the rotation is only made up of 10 banners or so then rotating them everyday will make them become duller quicker. Rotating every three days also allows more users to enjoy them.

 

I think every week would be good. Or maybe every three days.

 

Before banners can get rotated every day, you need more of them. So I suggest rotating them every three days or every week, so that people can enjoy them and the banners don't get boring as fast.

 

This poll assumes that we have a decent number of banners.

 

All righty- then go with the three days. I still think that rotating daily would be a bit much. But three days would work, imo.

 

ROTS just does it every day, but I don't think it's a process set in stone. It's been known to change twice in one day, that's what makes it so fun. We have the AHHHH...Freaky Banner discussion thread that is a hoot. A little impetuousness is fun. Every thing doesn't have to be planned down to the T.

 

I agree but I want to get a general feel from the PT users.

I voted for weekly...but I would go every three days or less. Variety is great, but personally I like there to be some consistency when the board pops up - when the boards change a lot its distracting....but maybe that's just me....

 

Daily.....I hate it when i see the same banner from the day before in the ROTS forum or the CT forum

We should find an actually decent banner and then use that for up to a year.

 

I say monthly. It will be changing soon for halloween anyway.

Ultimatly rotating banners is actually about keeping a forum fresh and unique and it does bring people in the give things a new dimension every day.

 

Yep I voted everyday as well. And the current banner is very nice.
