Han and Leia should be arguing over who's turn it is to do the dishes, which irritates Luke to the point where he turns to the darkside and force smashes all of the dishes, forcing them to go to Wal Mart to shop for new dishes at low bargain prices, which makes Luke happy and brings him back to the side of good.

Han as a drunk, unkempt, bum, staggering around the rough end of Coruscant. Leia as a chain smoking , grease ridden hag at home looking after their brat kids. And Luke as the older brother who never left home and spends the majority of his time in his cave (room) watching Gungan porn.

They all trip and stumble off of the Falcon.

I would like Luke's first appearance to be like is was in RotJ. A dark robed figure with hood raised.

I actually like that. When he walks into a room for the first time we wouldn't know if we were looking at a good guy or bad guy. Then he pulls back his hood and looks up. I can see everyone going nuts in the theater.
I also think that the Falcon should have an awesome entrance too. Like swooping in to save someone (much like at the end of A New Hope).

Or that it won't make the jump to hyperspace. That would be new.

Except this time, it's Leia who says it's not her fault.

    Luke's introduction:

    INT: Medical pod

A young girl is wounded and suffering as medical droids attend to her and love ones weep. She must be either important or popular because several other people surrounded her in this crowded room. There is a raised hush by those nearest the door and Luke, hooded in traditional Jedi garb approaches the bed and leans down facing the girl. A flurry of Luke's theme accompanies his entrance but you can't hear this for all the screaming and cheering from the audience around you. Luke heals the girl in much the same way Obi-Wan did for him back on Tatooine decades ago. The healing scene serves as a good juxtaposition of technology (medical droids) and the spiritual (the Force), a forerunner to a dominant subplot of Episode VII. *shrug*

I'd love to see the Falcon fly over the camera and land on a heavily armed space platform and some big security guys walk up the boarding ramp, weapons drawn. A Wookiee's roar and the flash of blaster fire, then out of the smoke, Solo and Chewie walk into shot, ''Where is he?'', Solo asks. A Hutt gangster surrounded by minions and bounty hunters mumbles something angrily in his own language about Skywalker. All of a sudden, the familiar sound of a lightsaber firing up occurs offscreen, the Hutt's men race toward the sound blasters firing, the sound of a lightsaber swinging, blasters firing, alien voices screaming in pain as Solo leans against Chewie nonchalantly watching the carnage offscreen. The Hutt now looks terrified as the camera pans over the dead hunters and stops on a dark hooded figure, ''You guys took your time, I thought that I'd have to hitchhike back to Coruscant..'' Solo grins as Chewie gives a big welcoming roar, the dark figure lifts his hood and reveals a bearded Luke Skywalker. ''Can we get going people, Leia wants a full report as to where the hell you've been for the past six months'', Solo beckons toward the Falcon. They all get on board and take off leaving the Hutt screaming in Huttese in the midst of a landing bay full of dead henchmen.

Never happen though but I think it would be a good intro to the old guard (okay, no Leia, Lando or the droids) but it's got a bit of a Bondian opening, even if it has nothing to do with the rest of the plot

This is pretty much what I'm hoping for. Also, like Obi-Wan's first appearance in ANH.

I'll second that thought... I don't care where in the film it happens, or in what location, but if it were to be filmed like that, it would be tremendously great.

That would be funny! Then a scene of how Han is saying its not his fault, but Leia fussing at him about when is he gonna get that fixed.

Right, and maybe they could also have a scene where R2-D2 is able to fix it, even though C-3PO is yelling at him to let the others worry about the hyperdrive and fix his leg instead.

This time around, Harrison Ford's iconic character (one of the three) should be totally beat up, with broken fingers, tattered clothes and full of bruises at the very beginning instead of starting sometime during the second third of the movie.

Hopefully not in Chronicles of Narnia style, all three walking side-by-side in a dramatic entrance with enlightened music....uggghh

Indeed, a lot of laughter and asses would be involved in that scene.
