How to get the Banners at the top back

    I believe I was on the Celebration section of the forum, I noticed a red X on the top right hand corner of the banner, I clicked it, and the banner went away. Now, in several other sections the banner is gone. In some sections they are still there. In others they are now gone. How do I get them back?

    Go to preferences --> Check "Restore dismissed notices"
