Here is a tutorial i know so you can make very good lightsabers.

You need Adobe Premiere and Photoshop 6 or better...

    1. Open premiere and click "import file" and choose your project and take it to the timeline, then you click "file "export timeline" and "movie" then you click "settings" and make it to a filmstrip and then click ok.

    2. Open Photoshop and click "file" "open" and open your filmstrip.

    3. Make a new layer and fix the mode to "screen" make sure the "neutral color black" is select, then "ok".

    4. Choose the Paint tool and hold "shift" and click in one of the sbers corner then you click in the other, it's going to be a line. Repeat the step until you are done, sometimes the saber move very fast and it will be 3, 4 and 5 corners, do like the other but paint over inside the line so it will be a fast moving saber.

    5. When you are done with the rotocope you click "filter" "blur" and "gaussian blur" and give it 1 pixel. then you duplicate the layer 3 times and select "layer 1 of copy 2" and give it a Gaussian blur about 10 pixles, then select "layer 1 copy" give it a gaussian blur with 20 pixles. and select "layer 1" and gaussian with 30 pixels....

    5. Merge down all three layers (ctr+e) to one layer.
Then click "Image, "Adjust" and "Color Balance".
First make sure the "Preserve luminosity" is selected.

    For blue sabers: Shadows = +40 Midtones = +100 Highlights = +100

    Green sabers: Midtones = +100 Highlights = +75

    Red sabers: Shadows = +60 Midtones = +100 Highlights = +100

    6. Then you click "Layer" and "Flatten image" and save it.

    7. Open premiere and click "import" "file" and open your filmstrip and put it into the timeline then you export just you did in the beginning but don't click filmstrip but click mpg, avi or something and then ok....

    8. You have a lightsaber movie:):)
