Question How to tag users?

    I may be an oldbie, but this stuff is new to me and no explanation of any kind is to be found.
    How the heck do I tag a fellow JC member?

    The @ symbol followed by their name, it has to be exact. The forum will attempt to auto-fill in the name as you type it.

    Example, I'll tag myself.

    I don't know how noticable (or effective) this has been, but I have made a habit of tagging whenever I reply to any noobs' intro thread. That way, it shows up in their alerts and when they check out the reply, they see how it was done. I'm subtle like that.

    Yep, I do that^ a lot as well - for the same reasons. Plus they learn what 'tagging' is / get to know the system. :)
