It will be infinite.
It will be eternal.
After the credits, we see Luke walking into his hovel, where he notices a mysterious figure standing in the shadows...
Mysterious Figure: "Luke Skywalker... How would you like to join The Avengers Initiative?"
Luke: "... Didn't you used to be Mace Windu?"
With JarJar Binks waking up in his bed, looking into the camera & saying "meesa just havin da most amazingist bombad dream!"
Luke's child is standing in the Jedi Council chamber looking out across the cityscape. Leia enters and he asks her if the Sith could ever return. Leia warns him that as along as there are those who use the Force there will be a danger of some using it for evil but that the Jedi have learned from the painful mistakes of the past and will be more watchful. The other member of the Jedi Council enter and Luke's child turns to leave. Luke's child takes one last look at the Council and sees Leia take her seat as the Grand Master before the doors close.
How will it end.......with a lot of tears in the audience.
R2-D2 and C-3PO looking off in the distance somewhere, could be anywhere, as long as it is just those two.
Until Episodes 10-12 are announced.
My serious guess is that it will end on a rather depressing note, like the PT did. Then, Episode XII will end on a high, like the OT. If they do a fourth trilogy at all, of course.
The villain is defeated in a climatic battle where several (Jedi) fall. I see Luke peacefully becoming one with the Force likely similar to Yoda's plot line either before or after the battle. He passes the torch to the new Jedi hero. Who pledges to continue to build the Jedi order. The Republic will be seen to be reunified. There will be some statement about evil being gone forever. However, someone will make a cryptic statement about the continuing threat of the Dark side leaving the door open for more movies.
Disney will rule the galaxy and we will have peace.
A musical number featuring muppets and teddy bears. Kind of like ROTJ.

Someone has to die.
It will be ambiguous and obscure to allow Disney to milk this cow forever and ever.
They can easily do that with ST having a decent ending.
It will be a cliffhanger! ...bring on Episode 10.
Everyone's a force ghost, and they're playing tag. Two of them have ghost sex and produce a child. Palpatine tries to turn her but Mace stabs him in the butt, screaming "Anal mother******, do you feel it?" Thanks to the surprise colonoscopy, the child is allowed to grow up and become the new ghost master, balancing the force with the scale from Celebrity Fit Club.
I wouldn't be surprised.
It will end with the heroes leaving AGFFA and travelling across the universe before arriving on a familiar blue-green world. There the last remaining Jedi will meet a young G. Lucas and tell him an epic story . . .
It ends with this awesome pizza party.
Ewoks protesting the new Senate over the Endor Holocaust.
If they echo or rhyme as George puts it then 7 should end on a happy note with a celebration like 1 & 4. However, IMO I think it should end dark and set up the tragic second act only to be resolved in 9. However, I think 9 should end in such a way that sets up 10-12.
10-12? Already? Better get ready for 13-15.
