How would you rate 'Return of the Jedi' (10 being highest)

I gave it an 8. Some of the effects were bad and I'm not a big fan of the Ewok thing at the end. Also, the SE kind of ticked me off when the people on Coruscant knock over the statue of the Emporer. Wouldn't the government still be in power and try to stop them? However, some of the best lines came from Jedi.

I am a Jedi, like my father before me...

Good stuff.

8: It was better than Empire Strikes Back but it was still lacking compare to A New Hope.

I gave it a 9. It's my second most favorite SW movie after ANH.

 

I'd give it a nine. It's the best movie of the original trilogy, and my second favorite movie of the saga.

When ROTJ came out, I waited over 12 hours in line to see it (that was a line up back then . . .)

I loved it. We all stood up and cheered when Vader threw the Emperor over the railing.

Only recently did I find out people had problems with things like the ewoks, etc.

I loved the movie then and I love it now. I do think ESB was a better made movie but I still love ROTJ.

10! It's my favourite SW movie after all! I love the music at the end of the original verison, and Leia's dress in the Ewok village is my favourite costume of all time. Go Jedi!

 

I gave it an 8. It's a great movie, but not as good as the other two in the classic trilogy in my opinion.

 

I'd give it a 4. The film sucked. Not as much as PM, but it sucked.

BAD POINTS:

Too many Muppets.

Slapstick Humour.

All those burp jokes.

Harrison Ford looked bored stiff.

Stupid errors.

Lousy rushed script.

Ewoks.

GOOD POINTS:

The Throne Room scene. (would have looked better in Ep. IX!)

The concepts of the Royal Guards, TIE Interceptor, the Scout Trooper and the Speeder Bike.

The rest was just dire. GL should have kept to his original plans outlined by Gary Kurtz.

 

10, because it combined the best elements of the first two movies, and added them together to create a seperate plotline that managed to fill out the story to a satisfactory conclusion.

And I thought Harrison was great in ROTJ...and I liked the Ewoks...and it was Mark's fault that black became one of my favorite colours because of the Jedi outfit...

Excuse me, but just because someone hates how ROTJ eventually came out, it doesn't automatically mean that they're not a fan. If someone says that they hate all the movies, then they're not fans and shouldn't be on this site. I myself am a fan of Ep. IV and Ep. V only. I'm also a fan of the franchise's prospects and what could have been, if only GL had gone the full mile and made Ep. VI, VII, VIII & IX as he originally intended.
