How would you rate 'Return of the Jedi' (10 being highest)

It's not as good as ESB which will forever be my favourite but it's still a great movie

The biggest problem ROTJ has is that it recycles itself from the previous movies, especially the Death Star. And the Ewok/stormtrooper battle is an utter joke.

But other than that, I love it. The Luke/Vader/Palpatine confrontation at the end is hands down the pinnacle of the Star Wars series. And I think the SE ending is vastly superior to the original ending.

I voted 10 for RETURN OF THE JEDI! Absolutely!

 

I give it a '10' because it was an exciting and appropriated ending to the story. Any flaws were greatly overshawdowed by it's incredible sense of fun.

 

It's a solid 10, the best ending for the best saga ever!

 

10, just like the other episodes.

 

I rate it 8. It is really close to being perfect, but there's something missing.

(No Star Wars movie is perfect and I wouldn't rate any of them as 10, except possibly ANH because it came first)

Rediculous space battle= -1

7. 2/3 of the movie is boring fluff. The stuff that's good however (Yoda's death scene, Space battle, and the final duel) make up for it though.

 

9. It's got the big man in it (look at my avatar and name if you're confused by that). The original ending takes a whole point off.

I love ROTJ. It is my favorite, and will be even after Episode 3. The sense of accomplishment, and redemption cannot be replaced by anything episode 3 will have to offer.

 

i think everone will see rotj in a better light after epiii

A huge 10.
Even though I like Gunguns better than Ewoks. I enjoyed this movie the most, I love all the SW movies of course but ROTJ just stands out to me as the best. ROTS could and proably will become my favourite but we'll have to wait and see.

 

Its always been my favorite so by default I give it 10. ESB and ANH both get 9.9.

 

I give it a 9 or 10. It is probably my least favorite OT one for the simple fact that the Ewoks were in that one. However it kicks major butt because the space battle is the greatest space battle I have ver seen on film. The Luke/Vader/Emperor scenes are great and the Leia slave outfit is amazing

 

Now that they got rid of that inferno Ewok song and added Hayden in, I like it alot better. I gave it an 8. Still kinda miffed about the Empire losing and Vader dying.
