How would you rate "There Will Be Blood"?

I'd give it a 5 or a 6. The only time the movie came alive for me was in the movie's climax where Daniel Day-Lewis gets to chew the scenery and utter that now immortal line. I found the rest of it very boring.

 

10. I honestly think this is one of the top 10 performances of all time by Daniel Day Lewis. Every scene was taut for me because he was so enthralling.

I gave it a 9, Daniel Day-Lewis was absolutely fantastic.

 

I think I missed something in this movie when I saw it or I was expecting something else. The acting was great in this movie, completely awesome, but for some reason the story and plot just did not hit key with me. Maybe I was going in to expect something a little different. It seemed in the theater I wasn't the only one who thought that with the man behind saying.

"There will be Blood for this movie"

I guess it isn't my type of thing.

It's very good, without having a third act.
