    I'm sorry about the long abscence of hugs!

    I haven't been on here in over a month because I was having to go through a lot of testing in Gainesville at a teaching hospital called Shands to stop a grand-mal seizure condition I've had since birth.
    My family, the doctors and I talked things over and finally decided on brain surgery (a partial temporal lobotomy) to get them stopped. The surgery was a success and I'm feeling great.

    I wanted to drop off a round of hugs for everyone on the forum.

    Hey all. My Grand Father in Italy is suffering from Parkinson's disease and today on my weekly call he says that he lost the ability to walk on his own. This is devastating to him because he's been a man that has worked with his hands all his life and now on top of not being able to do that, now he can't walk. It's sad to see a great man be taken by this disease. Thanks for the reading.

    Since I'm a very active/sportive person, I might have an idea how it feels for him or, maybe better said, I can't imagine not beig able to walk or using my hands. It would be really extremly hard for me. It's really sad.

    Whenever you meet him again, give him another hug from an unknown person! [:D]
