Senate Hulk Hogan vs. Gawker Media (Definitely A Courtroom Drama)

I'm against rich libertarians but I'm all for burning Gawker to the ground.

 

Gawker has filed for Chapter 11 today for bankruptcy protection.

 

Univision buys Gawker.

 

This is an interesting development since, while Univision has been going on a MASSIVE media merger spree in the last while, they likely don't have much overlap with a few of the core Gawker Media sites -- most specifically Jezebel and Gizmodo; so there's speculation that some of them will be spun-off and sold to other parties, but without knowing the specifics of the deal -- and the fact that Gawker's employees are unionized -- it's kind of hard to speculate.
