Também gostei do poster pq esse poster aparece no filme 'Mulholland Drive' e é aí que uma das personagens (que perdeu a memória) arranja um nome para si mesma: Rita (no poster original quem está lá é a Rita Hayworth ). Muito bom filme, ou não fosse do Sr. David Lynch.

Ok, aqui vai a minha teoria favorita de todos os tempos, cortesia do TragicLad. Desculpem se isto causar spoilers ( ) para o Ep. III, quando os jedi aprenderem a usar a força para fazer este truque:

The Jedi 'Get-Out-of-Your-Clothes-Real-Fast' Trick

Okay, so it's about two thirds of the way through A New Hope. Luke, Leia, Han and Chewbacca are having their assorted run ins with stormtroopers, and Ben Kenobi has just come face to face with Darth Vader. Now Ben, he's not as young and spry as he used to be. Sure he has the force as his ally, but that doesn't nearly make up for his arthritis and that trick knee (old clone wars wound dontchaknow). And Darth, well Darth is in his prime - he picks up starship officers by their necks for the hell of it. He's the 6-Million Dollar Bionic Man. As you can see it's hardly an even match and Kenobi knows it well. So as the battle rages on, Kenobi soon realizes that his number's up. He tries bluffing Darth with the old, "strike me down and I will become more powerful, blah blah blah..." Doesn't even phase Vader, and why should it? Anyone on the dark side is a master at screwing with people's minds after all. So Ben sees that if something doesn't happen and soon, he's dead, Luke's dead, everybody's dead. Kenobi closes his eyes. Vader takes one final swing. Kenobi's robe collapses to the ground. Ben had successfully used the old Jedi 'get-out-of-your-clothes-real-fast' trick. Even as Vader prodded the empty pile of clothes with his foot, Ben streaked down the hallways of the death star escaping what would have been certain death. He paused momentarily on one of the catwalks overlooking the hanger so that he could shout "Run Luke" and then he was off again.

Now, I know what you're saying, "How could a naked Obi Wan go running about a battle station that was on full red alert, and not be seen or caught?" Well, picture this if you will. A stormtrooper is making his way to the cafeteria on level 31 (maybe visit with the cook, Al --- "What?"). Along the way, naked Obi goes rushing past him. "I did not see that," says our trooper, "There was nobody here." "Aha," you say, "it's the jedi mind trick." Well, no. You see, the mind simply can not put its fingers around the concept of a naked Obi Wan running down the hallway. When confronted with such a sight, it's all that the mind can do to simply forget that it was ever confronted with such a thing for the sake of the mind's sanity.

So Obi makes his way to a communications room, dials up Luke's X-wing and proceeds to act as cheerleader. Now, unfortunately for Ben, he didn't realized that the Death Star would go boom the second Luke shot the exhaust port. He thought it would be a long drawn out deal - as it was with the 2nd Death Star. And so our beloved Kenobi went up in smoke along with Tarkin and the rest - which is why we see him as a blue ghostie in every other film.

Yoda used the same trick himself. Luke's pestering him for answers that Yoda doesn't want to give. The whole situation is uncomfortable and awkward, so he uses the Jedi 'get-out-of-your-clothes-real-fast' trick and high tails it out of his home. What Yoda didn't plan on was the 5:15 Degobah express train. Passes through the swamp every year like clock work. Smak! We see Yoda as a blue ghostie at the end of the film.

So there you have it. Lucas will swear up and down that none of this is true, and that the fool who came up with this load of fertalizer ought to be shot - but I think it's quite clear that this is the way Lucas intended the films to be interpreted.


Amazing.
