I work at home, so as long as my lanterns hold up, I can hole up in my studio and still earn a living. My Victrola is in there, as well, so I can listen to music once my ipod succumbs to its inevitable demise.
So apparently there was a guy on a jet ski out in NY harbor. He said on the news that it's just an average day for him.

The state highway (Route 1A), which is by the side of a stone wall that's about 40 feet above the ocean, near Narragansett Beach in Rhode Island:
Rub it in some more. So the East cost on up to the Great Lakes have really bad storm to deal with and it's cold and so on so what. We can deal with it.
It was wind for a bit were I live the strom is going as far as the great lakes. But I don't really think it will be as bad for Michigan it also will depend on where you live. But some of the great lakes states are feeling this. It's 1991 all over again only this time it hit on land unlike last time which was more out at sea. And that storm formed in much the same way a hurricane a cold front and a nor easter. I think the east cost and great lakes area are in for a cold cold winter. Though I hope I'm wrong.
Seriously, Tunick... your post equates posting a picture of your house in response to somebody talking about theirs burning down. Show some class, man.
