NYC, NY HVE Costumers

Hey all,

I'm just curious how many of us here who are going to HVE will be wearing costumes. So far I know of a definate 2

1. Darth Venom - Jedi (just for this event, I'm not switching sides )

2. Cailinn-Sarr - Jedi

Anyone else??

 

Well, I'll be Little Anakin at least on Sunday... the possibility of me pulling an Endor Leia outfit by Saturday is slim to none, so I'll probably be Li'l Ani then too, if it's comfy enough and doesn't look completely terrible.

 

er... seeing as how i'm probably taking a train up, it's looking like i won't be doing the parade gown thing at HVE. hoping i'll finally have it done for fan day... maybe.

 

Jedi. Tim and I will be teaching kids the art of the lightsaber.

 

Well, my plans have changed. I'll make it up for Sat. probably...by train most likely. Anyhow, can't do the whole weekend. Just gonna go up Sat. afternoon and leave in the early evening. Probably 1st train back down. Not sure how much time it leaves me to participate and help out where I can, but I'll be willing to do what I can at the time...except for when I gotta get Phil Brown's and Warwick Davis' autographs

As long as I'm not continuously on the phone for hours on end like I was last night ... and not in front of the computer talking to people for hours on end, like I am now....I should have my Padmé light blue Tatooine costume done by Friday night and wear it Saturday and maybe Sunday.

For those of you who don't know which costume I am referring to:

Hmphhhh, Padmé's white battle costume gets all the attention. I think that the best one was the her light blue Tatooine costume. Wheeeeee I'm not alone

 

i'm partial to the darker blue tatooine dress myself... (and the sound of music dress, and the packing gown...)

oh, for the income to actually be able to afford my costuming instincts...

 

I am just glad Padme's oufits would not look good on me, or else I would want to make some.

I think you would look quite fetching in her packing dress, but the Lake retreat backless gown is definitely out...your shoulders are far to broad.

 

you guys realize how tempting this is, right? i mean, i've got all my line pictures scanned in, photoshop is running, and the padawan's guide is only a few clicks away...

 

Do you want directions on how I made the picnic dress once I'm finished with it MS?

My fave'd be the light silky tie-dyed number with the pink tipping (or ruffles, or whatever it's called) that she was wearing when she and Anakin got off the boat and had their infamous "sand" conversation.
I remember a kind of "ooh" went through the audience when they saw that dress.

 

Ah yes, the "I'm wearing this diaphanous backless gown that exposes my soft flesh but don't you get any ideas, young jedi" dress.

 

I like any Costume of Padme's where you can feel how soft and smooth she is

 

So will Alan be wearing the rainbow dress for Episode 3?
