Games Hypathetico: Game in Progress (Sign-ups in progress)

Welcome to the game of Hypathetico.
I am Rainbow Knight Star, formerly prj1, your host. As some of you know, I spent a little time as a Sith in the Star Wars Community. During that time I learned very much by doing the different kinds of tasks our master assigned to us. This game was inspired by a type of task assigned in the first “Acolytes of Darkness” thread. I thought having a game with different situations presented, and the players’ reactions being the response to that situation would be fun. Here is how to play.

The game host will present a situation from a movie or other media to the players. The players will then PM their responses to the host, who will post them in the thread for the judge to choose. Whoever has the best response wins that round, and receives a point for that round.
For instance, I post a situation from POTC:

You?re stuck on a deserted island in the Caribbean with a crazy pirate and a lot of rum.

The players PM me the following:

1. Burn the booze as a signal.

2. Enjoy the tropical island paradise and go for a swim.

3. Get plastered with the crazy pirate.

4. It?s been a long day. Nap time!

5. Work on the tan.


The judge picks ?work on the tan? and the person who submitted #5 gets the point.


Judging rotates through the list of players. The game ends when someone gets 5 points.

Some of you may wonder why I chose to spell this game’s title with an A instead of an O. That is because the key word is path. Each situation is a path the players of the game travel, and the fun part is how each player responds while on that particular path.

You plant hidden cams in the lab and in their apartment to see if you can pick up on "traditional" vampirish activities, like avoiding mirrors and sleeping in coffins.

She's strange. She's beautiful. And she never gets old.

I start packing a stake and holy water, just in case he wants to make a move.

You invite your beautiful lab partner (who You suspect is a vampire) for drinks with your friends, all the while flirting, projecting a bad boy image.
