Also, I idolized Jarri Kurri (even though he was a bit before my time).
Jari Kurri.. So you like about Formula One -races? I think he is best driver ever.

Hpmh, I slept only 2 hours last night and I spent whole day on work. Well, gotta get more coffee.

Jari Kurri is also a hockey player. He played for the Edmenton Oilers during the 80s, and several different teams in the 90s. :)

    Edmonton Oilers?
Oh, you mean that waterball-team who played in an old Oil Tanker.
And I thought that we talked about basketball. Or was it baseball? I'm so crappy in sports knowledge... [face_plain]

    I know.
I just spent 1½ hours updating the Episode III spoiler & trailer free -people list. I had to read about 38 pages (more or less) full of interesting discussion.
    Whew.
Now I'm going offline, at last. I've tried to do so for the last 3 or 4 hours...

I had a feeling you guys were kidding.

Finnish language doesn't even regonize word 'kidding', mainly because we Finns don't have a sense of humor at all. Everything we say is always a serious fact.

    Edit; damn those typos.

And that's why we don't use smileys / emoticons. We don't know wt* they mean?

Yeah, especially the one with the tongue. Everytime when I see it, I'm like "What in the world? Is that guy showing his tongue for me? Wanna get your ass kicked?!" but then I usually calm down and continue posting serious facts.

Whatever you say, just keep eating your pills...
Could I have some Sense-Of-Humour-Pills? I'd need them.
    Badly.

    You should make more noise.
I WANT TO GO THERE, besides, there aren't that many polar bears... I think we'd make it alive.

Everybody knows that polar bears are very common in Finland and often walk in the streets of our capital, Helsinki. They're very dangerous animals, but if you know how to handle them, walking in Helsinki is quite safe.

Heehhheheh. To be honest, there are no polar bears in Finland. It's just quite funny to tell foreigners stories about Finnish polar bears.

The only polar bear I've ever seen in person was at the Zoo, and it wasn't very white...it was actually more green because of the chlorine in the water. :p

I haven't seen polar bears ever in any zoo. Or if I have, I don't remember it anymore.

sw6554, I think "Welcome to Finland" is a more proper thread to you, since this is meant to our Twin Chapter, German speaking countries.

See you in "Welcome to Finland"? :)

Lucky you, I have never seen one Live. Maybe there's one or a few in the animal museum? As far as I know, there haven't been any PB's in the Helsinki Zoo "Korkeasaari" in my 'life'time.
    Does anyone else know better?

I think the only polar bears in Finland are in Ranua animal park.
