Alrighty! Is one of you coming to Jedi-Con in Düsseldorf in april?

 

I doubt that I had enough money to do that. It could be really interesting, speaking bad german and doing strange stuff.

 

I'm still suffering the hairloss after being unable to came on Paris Meeting last summer.

Dusseldorf could be fine, but far too expensive manouvre to complete. Celebration 3 is coming. Only one year and some months!

OT on DVD!!!

What do you all think about it?!

 

It's not OT what they are going to release. It's those damn Special Editions, but oh well, it's better than nothing.

 

Okay, it's SE.
I don't really understand, why nearly everybody doesn't like SE much...

But it's still Star Wars
Will there be some extra-stuff or "just" something about EPIII to "rise the interest"?

 

If there is something about Ep3, I'm not watching until I've seen III.
I'm in the minority, I like the SE's. Except that "Greedo shoots first".
It's Star Wars, it can't be that bad.

But as I said, I'm in the minority around here (SW fans)...

 

Well, I like the SE:s too. EXCEPT for the "improved" dancing and dancers at Jabba's Palace.... that thing just sucks ***.

Well, obviously deleted scenes would be SWEET, plus interviews on every possible person alive who was involved with the movies... want Harrison Ford talking! but being there's only gonna be ONE bonus disc, I'm afraid we won't get much more than the much-hyped about documentary. Hope it's not just about the making of the SE:s....

 

I really hope for some nice stuff about Harisson Ford. He was sooo cute when he was young

I'd love to listen to commentary tracks with each film. I find them interesting.
I was so disappointed when I noticed that IndyJones-boxset didn't have commentaries.

 

It hasnt?! I didnt notice that,but then again I got to watch each films + bonus disc once before it was lend..and without my approval(sp).

I would also love to hear what actors like Peter Mayhew etc. have to say.

I'd love to come to different cons, but lack of money and a long distance are the biggest barriers There was a FFFinland mini-meeting last weekend, but it would have been too expensive, so I didn't go there.

I've seen the OT DVD cover designs and read some rumors about new changes. The covers look pretty good, but I wouldn't like to see any new changes. I hate altering movies.

 

The gold (SE VHS) is great, but I liked the silver version, too. Maybe I'll have to keep them both in my collection... The more the merrier.

I meant that I wouldn't like to see changes in the movies. It doesn't matter what style they're using in the covers, as long as the covers look good.

I like them both. Perhaps the golden one looks a little better.

 

IMHO the embossed silver/gold art isn't so cool. Preview versions of early stage did have more dramatic pics. Like "the Imperial" dvd-box. However, LFL did not use those images.
