Me too. "Alone In Stereo". It redeemed the not-so-great Right Ball, Wrong Sport album.

Yeah, it was really the only gem on that one. But when you're as prolific as the Nee Gees they can't all be classics.

Yeah, how did you know?! That was from the era when they were really focused on clever titles. Some would say even more than they were on the music itself.

I heard they went into the studio with just the titles, and then more or less invented tunes around them, obviously failing with "Mathematics Are For Mad Fanatics And Lunatics In Attics."

Yeah, but they took and interesting approach with that. I heard that they constructed every song usinng nothing but mathematical formulas and twenty-sided dice.

It actually inspired such experimental noise greats as Sound Monkey, and The Cream Puff Liberation Front or C.P.L.F.

Yes, but in a bizarre coincidence, the Nee Gees lost a member today too.

    RIP Dickenson. :(

PS Was it Dickinson? Or Dickenson?

You mean The Nee Gee Bible of course.

And God said "Let there be funk". And there was much rejoicing...

Even more ironic when you consider that Pepsi actually payed him in coke.

    For one.

It's people like that who put the greats like Dickynson in an early grave.

    That makes my heart sing

Identified the quote. "Can't Be Any One Thing", from the "A Different Kind Of Nee Gees" album, released 7/29/1982, didn't chart.
