[I am alright] I was held at gunpoint this morning

This morning I was up and ready to head to school. Glad my parents were fast asleep or else it would of been worse.

At 7:30 AM, I was sitting in the chair watching TV then I hear something. I turn to see the front door opening. At first I thought did my mom or dad go out to get something. But then this black guy walks in, and pulls out a silver handgun, points it at me and says: "Stay quiet, where's the money?"

He kept saying that over and over again. So I gave him all the money I had, which was about $40 and some of it was my birthday money. He kept talking in a whisper the whole time, and moved really slowly. I showed him that that was all the money we had as we are broke. I was mostly trying tp keep him away from the other side of the house where my parents were asleep, as matters could become worse.

I kept telling him to leave or there will be more trouble, but he replied: "I've got the gun." After awhile, he kept saying he must of stopped at the wrong house. Whether he means as in he was targeting a specific house or because we had no money, I don't know.

As he was leaving, he said to not call the cops and to count to 50 as he left. Once I did so, I saw he left the front door still ajar. I slammed it shut, locked ity and got my parents up and told them what happened and called the police. They came and dusted for fingerprints in the places where I told them he touched, like the desk drawer, cash box, door knob, etc.


So on the 1st official day that I am 18 years old, I get robbed at gunpoint in my own house, and I could of nearly died as I thought at some moments I thought he was going to shoot me or klunk me over the head...

Right now I'm just dealing with the fact I could of died staring down a stranger with a gun. My mom was flipping out but she's better now. My dad was ready to go commando if neccessary. But we're okay now. Nothing stolen except my money. We could just use some prayer is all...

I'm rather skeptical of the story, but if it's true, good that you're alright.

 

Wow, that is way scary. I am glad you are ok. I would have gone for the firearms and shot him ASAP, none of this counting to fifty nonsense.
