This is a question that whoever knows the answer to...can answer. Hm.

Anyway, why the Grande???

(And I don't wanna read any: "Why NOT the Grande"s... )

 

The answer is in the Line-up FAQ (somewhere, I'm sure someone will make a link to it) but basically it boiled down to it being a decent theatre that had room on the sidewalk to line up on, and with a good selection of 24 hour places for food, bathrooms etc.

The Paramount downtown is a much better theatre (apparently) but there is no room for people to line up there without disrupting traffic (pedestrian and otherwise) and no close by facilities.

And the York (Epsiode I line-up) was no more.

 

Alas, York I knew ye not. SO Grande take thou place lest Paramount summon trekkies.

 

What did curiosity do to the Kat?
