    Yeah. It needs a big international performance to catch the big films, but I think it opened late or perhaps has yet to open in China. Good domestic performance.

    Hobbit 3 and Hunger Games 3 both have a good chance of doing better domestically, and Hobbit 3 will almost certainly beat out all the Marvel movies of 2014 globally.

    I don't know that I'd bet on it. GotG is just a more fun movie. Daughter's mother in law is in town and we took her to see it tonight. She has never seen a comic book movie, much less a Marvel one. All she knew of it was that it was some type of space comedy with a raccoon, 'which didn't sound very good'.

    She loved it and both daughter and I would look at each other happily every time she burst out laughing. Rocket was her favorite character.

    Due to the annoyance of only having access to a iPad right now I'll make it short. Finally got to see this tonight (first time seeing a movie by myself too, everyone else wasn't interested) and it was the wonderful weird adventure I hoped it would be. Exactly what I wanted from a movie, the first Marvel Studios film I think I'm giving a 10. 10 meaning I got exactly what I wanted, needed, and then some!

    Nebula is amazing and I want a plushy of her and Pop Vinyl and action figure and poster and spinoff and...I'll stop.

    While I'm very happy and pleased with Batista's performance as Drax (exceeded my expectations and then some), that is some damn good concept art.
