Yeah I'll get used to it. I think it was because it happened so suddenly. One week it was in the 90s mid day, the next week it was in the 60s and rainy and was 50s/60s since. I guess I shouldn't complain, 90s in October is pretty rad.

I will actually probably be down in SoCal for New Years, so I might be able to make this. If my family lets me get away.

I should be able to make it. I was hoping to go to Disneyland with a couple of friends before the year was over anyway (thoughthis means there would be a non JCer or two with me).

It's been a goal of mine for the past 2 years to make it to one of these, so I will be going this time. Yeah, I may need a ride to & from there, but I'm more than willing to pay for gas & perhaps lunch at the park for that person. I don't want to miss another meetup like this. Looking ahead at the calendar, the 30th (a Friday) would work perfectly for me (a day off from work). :p

I don't have any homeless friends, but most of them are college students, if that means anything.:p

Would I/could I hitch a ride with you, ZAP? If there's room in your friend's car, naturally.

If tunick and zpaul are carpooling together, I demand that part of the ride be videotaped.

Just walk around at night barefoot until someone offers to help you. When they do, tell them you live in Disneyland.

I just went to Disneyland a couple weeks ago. The new California park is very cool; that's a definite for anyone to check out. Love the roller coaster in there and the twilight zone ride. The Little mermaid ride is kind of fun too. My most favorite ride at the entire park is Pirates of the Caribbean. The best place to eat is inside of that resturant actually inside of the Pirates ride.

Except the Blue Bayou is very expensive and if you have a big group, you'll need to make reservations way in advance.

Blue Bayou is definitely not the best food, imo. It's the best place to sit, not to eat. In part because of price, too.

Good for taking chicks, though. Chicks did the pirate vibe.

If it's expensive, I'd rather avoid it. I got no interest in sitting there anyway.

Um, wait, are you talking about LA? Because when I lived there it never, ever went below 40 degrees, even at 4am in the middle of January. The lowest temperature ever recorded in LA was 28 degrees.

Unless you're talking about somewhere else entirely, in which case, move along.

Well that makes even less sense. The average low in January is 49.7 degrees! :p
