Garik Loran was my favorite charachter - Stackpole can write books pretty good - with charachtarisations n stuff. But Dj sucked.

 

Dark Journey is a well written book in that its purpose was to show Jaina's struggle. The big space-battle would have been out of tone with the book, seeing how it was mainly written from Jaina's view and she was only in the battle for a little while. Wait till the Allston books coming up, they should have fights and jokes to make reading SW more pleasurable to you, because Allston writes good.

Gotta love those newbies that come in flaming all things. They're always good as a source of entertainment.

And for the record, I can type close to 75 words per minute. Just because someone's in a hurry doesn't mean that his/her post has to be full of grammatical errors. Then again, it doesn't really matter if you spell words wrong when you're swearing up a storm on boards where that kind of behavior is against the TOS.

Anyone else get those grammar headaches when trying to read some posts on these boards? Happens to me all the time. I hate having to concentrate in order to read stuff!

Oh yeah! For example, in this thread, I was really tempted to post "Warning: reading this thread could be detrimental to your grammar and may reduce your ability to form coherent sentences," but didn't because I didn't want it to be considered a flame.

Anyhow, it seems the SW fan base is getting alot younger, I'm 15, some of these people seem 5-8 years old.

Oh, and I love a good space battle, but Novels are about charicters.

I don't agree with Agonizer, but I do think that the treatment he recieved was unfair. He criticized authors - and the mod said that was a bad idea. Now let me ask you something, what use is a literature forum that never criticizes authors? Many people here, the great Ghenghis included, have criticized authors, quite severely, I might add, several times. Yet this post, for some strange reason (E.Cunningham is a VIP here) was edited.

Ah..and unlike Mr. Agonizer, I can write - so please discuss what I have to say, and not how it is said.
