    The Keeper of the Archives sounds so much more officious than Library aide, but at least being a library aide is a real job. ;) I start work on Wednesday, June 4th at my school's library, and although I do work some morning hours on Saturday it shouldn't prevent me from attending most PFF events (which makes me pretty happy). :)

    That's fantastic, LJC!! And it sounds like a great job for you. You're smart and you will be an awesome addition to their staff. Probably bring a little craziness to the drab world of the labrary. LOL
    Unless... We find out, through you, of course, that there is a secret underground world beneath the facade of the everyday dull exterior of the library. :eek: I wonder...
    I can see it now: crazy aides, purpsofully misplacing books, shelving them so that the first letter of thier titles all spell curse words when seen together; after hour parties where they resort the card catalog while drinking margaritas and sending nasty emails to complete strangers; setting up web pages (the really bad kind) that are accessed "accidentally" whenever someone looking for a book enters the key words "Victoria's Secret."
    You wouldn't be one of those crazy people, would you Lady Jedi? [face_clown]

    Congrats LJC. That library is a great place to work (and meet fellow star wars geeks ;) ). There are a lot of nice people that work there (tell jennifer and sylvia I said hello).
