I am thinking galvatron kicked more ass then megatron.

I had both Tripticon and Metroplex! Why oh why did i get rid of them?!? Anyways, the ols school transformers were difinattly the best. Beast wars looked cool and had some cool elements (like when they found the arc) but pailed in compairison to the original.

I had some transformers and the videos which I stupidly sold but I managed to save the Movie vid.

I didn't watch that much of Beast Wars but I did see the ep where they found the Ark and Optimus Primes body-the size difference was amazing

Beast Machines was okay and had some old things like the Key to vector sigma whicb seemed to have its use changed and the reintroduction of organics to Cybertron

 

Since I was born in 84 I don't know much about the original Transformers. I have a few episodes of Transformers Generation 2 on tape.
I have the entire series of Beast Wars recorded and all of Beast Machines except the first 5 episodes which I recorded over when I rerecorded Star Wars "The Empire Strikes Back". Rhinox from a good hero in Beast Wars to an evil villian in Beast Machines was dissapointing.

 

How can you enjoy the new shows without knowing the back story from the originals?

And I was born in 85 and I know all about them.

I didn't know about Tranformers until I first say Generation 2 on TV. All of the shows I've seen that were from the 80's were reruns I think. Since the original Transformers will probably never be back on reruns I'll probably never see any of them.

Just think of it, if you had the WHOLE collection you could literally spend about a week of nothing but beer, pizza dilevery, and ocasional bathroom breaks. All this bathed in the glory that is Transformers.

Dang, everysingle time I watch the movie I still shed tears. I remember watching it as a kid, I was soo upset... and fighting over my bro's transformers. I would throw tantrums cos I didnt want my own girlie toys lol...

Does anyone know if people actually made a PC/vid game with transformers? I think there was a C64 game, but I bet its just wishful thinking (there ya go CA, least keeping it within games hehe)

Yes, there was a C64 Transformers game. Around the time of the movie, because I remember it had Hot Rod. It was gawd-awful. Basically a 1st person shooter, you aimed a little box at planes and blew them up. You sent your Autobots all over this map (it didn't really matter where you went) and they showed a transformation animation. You could choose from a dozen or so Autobots to play, but they were exactly the same. The only other thing I remember is that the storyline involved some type of gigantic mechanical dinosaur. Thats the 80's for you

-Galvatron rules
-Rubble rules too, so does Laser Beak and Ravage (my cat was named after him!)

I have all 6 Constructicons that form The Devastrator and the 5 Rescuebots that form Defensor!!
And I was born in 1978!
