It's nice isn't it?
I have it too!
Yup. Would've been nice to have it in Widescreen and with lots of extras, but oh well.
I always thought of us as ************. It rolls of the tongue better, yes no?
American=Ruler of the World.
At least that's what the Jackass/Hillbillies/ArrogentAmerican would like to believe.
BTW, Silver Streak=The Man!!!
Who was Silver Streak? One of those original cars?
I still have fantasies about those autobot chicks
Ithink he means blue streak but his paint job was silver.
Mirage was cool too!
he was one of the quietest bots too.
Yeah, Mirage was the hero at the end of the premiere episode. But you didn't see him too much after that, probably because his invisibility made him just too powerful.
The Insecticons were cool, esp their abilitiy to control a robot's behaviour. remember they controlled Mirage in one epirode.
I think Starsream ruled!
I never expected to find a post dedicated to Transformers on a Star Wars Forum! This rocks. Blurr was so cool in the movie.
I'm the only one of my friends who can quote Blurr exactly at the same speed that he does!
Mutha F'in UP.
"Corenation, Starscream? This is bad comedy."
I personally liked the over-the-top insanity of the post-movie Galvatron.
Cyclonus: Lord Galvatron, their death is assured!
Galvatron: Assured is not enough. I told you I want their heads.
*Decepticons go into storm after Autobots. Galavatron is the last to come back out*
Cyclonus: Mighty Galvatron, where are the Autobot's heads?
Galvatron (punches Cyclonus): What does it matter? Their deaths are assured!
Crazy Galvatron was a great villian.
There was actually another Transformers video game for either C64 or nintendo, can't remeber which. Anyways, it was a lot like Megaman. You had to try to find all of the pieces of an energon cube on each level. I think there was bosses on each level too. I remember it bieng a lot of fun.
I probably still have it if I ever find a way to get my C64 runing again. I'm missing a cable but I don't remember which one, and the thing is buried at my parents house.
I forgot to mention, did anyone else get the little insert card with the Transformers Movie DVD that talked about the transformers movie, and a bunch of other videos of the original show? I took that to mean they were on DVD but I haven't seen them anywhere.
THe only other DVD's I 've seen is the Heroes and Villains DVD's that have three episodes on each. They the later episodes though.
I really want the early episodes on DVD, I missed Christmas but my birthday is coming up. (crosses fingers)
Also my favorite transformer toy was always Jetfire, I don't really remeber him bieng in the show that much though.
I was bored so I went to the Rhino website adn boy did I find good news. The entire first season of Transformers is tentatively scheduled to be released Feb 26 on DVD.
Where's a time machine when you need one?
This is good news indeed.
I found a test you guys might be interested in.
Transformers Personality Test: Which Autobot Are You?
I ended up with Prowl. Ack!
I got Prowl as well. That test is cool.
The 2 DVD's that are out compile the story arc where the Decepticons were brainwashing humans (Villians), and the Headmasters saga (Heroes). Not too bad, but can't wait to see all of them out.
But to tide me over, they've released collections of the old Marvel line. Ah the memories. Plus the rights have been picked up by DreamWave, and there will be new comics starting in April.
Cool! I like what they did witht he new G.I. Joe comics. Retro 80s is big.
According that quiz I am most like Ironhide. That's pretty accurate.
I'd be Blue Streak - is that good? I don't remember much of the old Transformers Cartoons. I got all the broken "hand-me-downs" from JP and our other brother Half of them couldn't (and still can't) transform.
I tried - oh how I tried to get Megatron (i think) out of the form of the gun, alas I could not.
