ST I am very Worried, I need to talk to someone

I am very worried and I need to discuss this before I go crazy. Several of the plot points that have circulated, seem to coincide with hints in the trailers. The reason it has me worried, is that some of those plot points are bad for our main characters. Does anyone know what I mean? By the looks of it both Han and Luke have been MIA for the past 30 years. Someone tell me this isn't happening!

Han has been without the Falcon. I don't know what he's been up to, but apparently he hasn't seen Leia in a while. He's been with Chewie. Luke's been gone.

Why he hasn't had the Falcon in 30 years, seems to make since if he lost the Falcon at the Battle of Jakku, which seems to pan out and the reason he hadn't gone back for it, was because he was in prison for that time. The reason, why this is so bad is not only did they wipe out the whole post ROTJ EU, but on top of that there wont be any new stories with the trio in that time period at all! Have you seen the line up of new novels? The only ones with the three of them in it are set during the OT, be we have plenty of those. This really sucks!

There's a whole forum to read, I'd imagine most of the questions you have, are already answered.

They've even got specific topics separated out by character. It's all rather easy to read along. Except for that weird bit where people quote like, 5 posts along with their own to add a one-line response or a stupid emoticon. That gets annoying. But still, that aside - Basically there's stuff you're wondering about that's been answered. You just gotta read about 'em.

I had similar feelings with Ghostbusters 2. That beginning was a bad surprise. "Hey, all your favorite Ghostbusters have failed! Surprise!"

With any spoiler, wait until you see it. JJ loves secrets, and I would not put it past him to deliberately feed disinformation to maintain the surprise.

I'ma still thinkin we had a decade-ish of Our Heroes doing their Star Wars thang until it all went to heck for the last 20. "Bringing the band back together" seems to be a theme of the movie, which is good because it's going to be our time seeing these characters back together after decades so it's a wheels within wheels type of deal. They're reuniting for the first time in decades, so are we.
