With a growing sense of fear

Longing to hold her near

The one I love so much

Remembering her touch
I can only watch
Knowing things will never be the same

Hating these stupid games
I can only watch
Wishing I could tell her how I feel
I can only watch
Wishing I could just convince her that my love is real
I can only watch
Knowing that she loves another
I can only watch
Knowing that she sees me now only as a brother
I can only watch
Hoping that at least he'll be good to her

Because I just can't be sure

Praying that he'll never hurt her in any way

Knowing that if he ever does, he's going to have hell to pay
