I can't find this story with Qui-Gon Jinn's ghost in it

    I looked in SW.com on his character, I looked at amazon.com, NoveList, OCLC to find out about this book. It's aimed at kids, and it's about Qui-Gon Jinn's ghost trying to contact a padawan who is about to go to the Dark Side. It doesn't look like it's one of the Aprentice books, since it has to do with his ghost, but I might be wrong. Anyone know what book I'm talking about?

    where did you hear about the book? Sounds like fanfic at best.

    I remember I was in Toys R Us back in 1999, and there was a children's book. In front it had a see-thru Qui-Gon, and he was like reaching out to some padawan in a swamp. I read the back of it and it said something like Qui-Gon comes back as a ghost to keep his padawan from turning to the dark side. It could be the same series that brought you Star Wars, Episode I. Anakin to the rescue . I mean, I could be wrong about the ghost thing because in the Jedi Aprentice series I think Qui-Gon had a padawan trying to go Dark Side, but I don't think so.

    This story sounds bonk to me. I've never heard mention of it or of Qui-Gon's ghost. If it does exist, it's strange news to me.

    Qui-Gon would never appear as a ghost, especially before AotC and RotS, because LFL wouldn't allow it.

    The only time that Qui-Gon appeared to anyone was to Anakin in Rogue Planet, and that was in a dream. There was debate within the book on if it really was him contacting Anakin through a vision, or simply just a dream.

    It could have actually been him since he did talk to Anakin in AOTC.

    Other than that there are no ghosts appearing while he is awake, and Qui-Gon wasn't on the cover.

    Ok guys, thanks. Maybe it was a Jedi Apprentice book, and he was trying to keep his old apprintice from going Dark Side. I swear he was a ghost, but maybe I got confused. Thanks.

    Anakin had a "vision" of Darth Maul and Qui-Gon in Jedi Quest, didn't he?
