    Abrams is the one that develops incredibly convoluted mythologies. Whedon is the one who kills all the fan-favourite characters after making people fall in love with them.

    I watched and liked Firefly, but I was more of a Dollhouse fan, and yeah, we got really cheated by FOX.

    One knows how to tell a thrilling story with incredible characters with deeply felt themes that often succeeds in spite of occasional logical lapses...and the other is JJ Abrams.
