JCC I can't tell JJ Abrams and Joss Whedon apart

Cordy, Fred, Anya, Tara, Joyce, Buffy (Twice), Wesley, etc.,

and that's just the TV shows. I have not (and have no inclination) to see the comic seasons.

Fox do have a terrible habit of cancelling good shows *cough* Futurama *cough*

It's a combination of a horrid broadcaster and the Curse of Summer Glau that seems to have caused no end of problems for Whedon. Let's hope neither have anything to do with his SHIELD series otherwise that will have a similar fate

 

Well the SHIELD series won't be on FOX (Given Marvel is Disney owned and Marvel has hopefully learned it's lesson from doing business with FOX via the Generation X movie), so there's one thing in the series' favor.

 

That one wasn't actually Whedon's idea.

TBF, Abrams' show Undercovers was cancelled after a season, though it never had the following that Whedon's shows do.

 

It's "crotchety" to ask for female characters where "complexity" means something more than simply being (and dressing) sexy and able to do karate.

 

So I take it you didn't watch the show, right?
