    Hey everyone,
I-CON announced today that they are moving back to Stoneybrook for 2010. The word around is that they will only have half of the gym for the dealers room. That means they will have half as much space - putting tables at more of a premium. --Billy

Correction: The Prichard gym is what is split up and no smaller - the place the main programming happens in. They will move that programming to other rooms.
We'll be glad to have the Javitts building back with those nice lecture rooms. --Billy

Billy, its call stony brook no e. I dont know why.
I'm suprised its back there. I heard they hated ICON(the school). Maybe since the school got a new prez. had something to do with it?Why, would not use the whole gym as the daelers room . that has always been one of the highlights of the Con to me. over the years.
Where did you here the info about the gym/dealers room?

To clarify, The room used for the dealers room WILL be the same size. It's the room where they have the main programming panels that will be split. Remember Ray Park's panel where Kenny was the interviewer? It's that room. Which is no big deal that it's smaller. --Billy

    Thank you for explaining.

I too was a bit confused about the gym being half the space, thinking that such a small dealer's room would suck.

I'm glad that it's going back to Stonybrook. While Brentwood was OK, it just wasn't the same con.

We should probably start working on our game and pannel Ideas pretty soon.

I remember that a lot of us were interested in running stuff. Who is still interested in doing so?

We had some pretty good ideas if I'm remembering correctly.

Check out our I-CON 29 Online Program Guide. There's even a link to a printable copy you can download and carry with you to the con.

Also, be sure to fill out the survey for I-CON Family Feud. It's five minutes of fun fill-in-the-blank questions that will help to shape the game on Saturday at noon.

I hope to see you at I-CON this coming weekend!

    Hey DB516er's,
Congratulations to us. We ran 23 hours of programming at I-Con 29 hosting all our own panels with a combined attendance of 815 people (not including the 400 Capacity sold out Masquerade featuring AeroSith and hosted by Kenny). It was truely a group effort by all of us and we should be proud. Docking Bay 516 is at the top of its game right now and I'm sure we cant wait to start working on next years I-CON.
For those on this list who didn't get a chance to attend I-CON, here is the list of our events from the DB516 guide. --Billy

I-CON is once a year. Usually in late March or early April. I don't think that they've announced the dates for I-CON 2011 yet.
