I did it!

I did it! I failed spanish! yay! I'm going to summer school!
It starts June 24th and ends July 16th
Its only from 7:30am to 9:30am so Its not like I'll be missing out on anything since thats around when I get up anyhow.

Is anyone else going to summer school? What's it like? I've never gone before. Is it possible to fail summer school? And if so, what happens then?

 

I've never failed anything in my life.

I'd have to try really hard to fail anything.

And anyhow, what are you in, 7th grade? I got A's till I became a freshman then I slacked and slacked and slacked.

I slack off more than possible by the laws of physics! It's amazing.

 

Well, that makes two of us.

 

It's like harnessing the energy stored within mass, and then using it to get myself a cup of ice water.

I went to summer school for chemistry last year. Wasn't a fun expirience, really. Especially because it doesn't actually fix your grade.

 

That stinks a boatload Pell.

It means it ruins your summer but your still screwed.

 

as in whatever my grade was I still have to keep it and show it to colleges but I get to go onto be a Junior and my high school puts it behind em?

Mine get mailed to me.. So I get em a week or so after school.

 

At least at my school, the summer school grade doesn't do anything to the failure in the class. They just mention that you failed and you went to summer school because of it.

 

And then they take the big red cattle poker that says 'YOU SUCK'and brand it onto your forehead.

 

Yeah...it doesn't matter what you get in summer school all that matters is that you recieve a passing grade so they can award you credit.

Same thing with going to another College or taking summer courses at a different school. If you transfer, only the amount of credits you have for satisfactorally completed classes transfers in, not your GPA.

Good hint if you have a hard class in College and you don't want to ruin your GPA...go to a community college and pass it with a C or above and the credits not the grade will transfer in. So, you complete the requirement and don't have to worry about doing spectacuarly! YEA!

At my school they didn't even give credit for summer school.

 

If I failed anything, I wouldn't be posting on the boards, oh say until Mett 237.

 

lol. My parents flipped out at first then relised that it would screw up my summer and I guess they figured that was punishment enough.

 

Who knows, maybe they'll get sick of driving you and hand you the keys a few times, minus your license. =D
