I didn't get fired

So, I didn't get fired for turning up to work drunk.

I am however on my final warning. Which means, if i get another warning, even if it's over something itty bitty like not wearing my hat or sitting down, i get fired.

So, who wants a drink??

 

Just proving people can get drunk and show up to work and still make some money. Well I am really glad you got that taken care of. I was losing sleep wondering if you would lose that job. I'm glad I can finally have a peaceful night sleep.

Heh. Funny you should mention that, because I just put someone on probation for the same thing. Though their job is a little more high-profile, and their drinking is probably worse because they're underage.

It sucked, though. I hated having to do it. But I guess it's one of those "made your bed, now lie in it" things.

The whole turning up to work drunk thing was a major mistake. I'll definately never do it again. Actually, the fact that i hardly ever drink anyway is probably how i got caught. The drinks were a few hours before work, i thought it would be out of my system. The manager said the reason i didn't get fired was 'cause i'm a good worker and i've never done anything like this before, and because i was very apologetic.

 

I'd fire your manager too.

I would fire you, and anyone else related in the case.
All managers and managers of managers would be fired. There is no excuse to keep you and it sends a bad message to the other workers.

I don't hold tickets, i clean screens and kick kids out. And i help the disabled into screens. And i check screens to make sure they're playing okay. There is honour in my job. The amount of kids i've kicked out must be in the hundreds by now!! I've kicked out dozens of adults. I'm better than the police!!

 

That is ironic.
That you kick people out who break the rules when you yourself break the rules.
Oh the irony of it all!
