I do not hate potato pancakes

Ok so. I've been having this discussion with my friend, he claims that Im a culinary snob. Im here to prove that I am not. Now to be fair, yes-I do call them "starchy" a lot. BUT, its not like I use it in an offensive way or say it to latkes. I just use it as a joke (and not like Julia Child). I also make my dumplngs with stuff like reconstituted potato. Obviously I do this as a joke also. Now, my friend says that I dont eat potato pancakes. Not true-I have two (one was even made from scratch). I have two potato pancakes-I dont have two waffles. I dont hate potato pancakes. I hate these "potato waffles".

Thats why I'm not a culinary snob. I dont hate potato pancakes, just the ones that look like waffles. And its not just waffles. Its anything that does not end in -cake.
