A/V SOLO: A Star Wars Story (untagged spoilers allowed)

It's kinda funny that the EU already gave us that moment in the Han Solo Adventures books, long before the Special Edition - with Han saying "I happen to like to shoot first, as opposed to shooting second".

 

Brian Daley was basically a prophet when it came to Star Wars. The scene in the RD where Vader interrogates Leia is simply too perfect for him not to have seen the future and know exactly how their relationship to one another would play out.

I think one of the early casting call rumors mentioned an age range they were looking for, but I forget what it was. I actually thought it was somewhat younger than Alden is. But then again, Rogue One had a 33 year old actress playing a 22 year old character, so I guess going by actors' ages can be flexible.

 

I wonder if Kessel would be a natural location for part of the movie since it would be one of those popular ties to ANH.

 

I assume, Kessel, Nar Shadda, and Corellia will e in the film. Likely Nal Hutta or Tatooine as well.

 

Corellia feels almost a certainty, as it's by far the most probable explanation for why it's seemed comparatively "off-limits" to the new canon.

If this movie doesn't finally show us canon Corellia and give that world some much needed love, I quit.

Even if all Greedo shows up for is a lame "Han Shot First" joke or two, think about it -- wouldn't it be great to see a Rodian in a Star Wars movie again?

 

I can see Greedo being Janna the Hutt's bodyguard or something in this movie.

I hope Woody Harrelson is not used as just a rehash of Michael Rooker's mentor role from Guardians of the Galaxy.

I have a bad feeling about that.

I still wanna say Kashyyyk. If Lucas were involved with this we would absolutely be getting the Han-was-raised-by-Wookiees-on-Kashyyyk story, but even though he's not I feel like they might roll with that idea anyway.
