I might have to start disliking the Revs as much as RSL.
Then again, around here, nobody really cares about soccer.
At least not during the Red Sox, Patriots, or Celtics seasons, I'd guess.
As much as I will always have a natural inclination/disdain of Boston sports, I just can't find the anger/sports hate for this. I just don't care about hockey.
Viva Los Angeles!
That's your loss, Tunick.
I think that my main dislike of the Bruins comes from their "Original Six" status, more than anything directly related to Boston.
....which is pretty much the entire year.
Yeah, I think that was the point ...
I don't really hate the Bruins either. For me, it's just "meh".
The Patriots are the only Boston-area team worth hating.
Now that the Bruins have won the Stanley Cup, the Patriots are now the Boston team that's gone the longest without a title.
Looks like someone beat me to it, but here is that observation in published form:
The Pats can't even claim to be dominant in their local market anymore. This is the high renaissance of New England sports and despite winning three Super Bowls in this century, the Patriots have the longest championship drought among greater Boston's four professional sports teams.
So long ago.
Meanwhile, in New York
*dances around the townhome in utter glee*
Viva Los Angeles!
A wonderful September collapse -- that's the Bosox we know and love!
THE METS ARE OFF THE HOOK!
Best part is the Papelbon blown save and loss. He's still on my list for not showing Mo respect at the All Star game a few years back.
Boston collapsing will always bring back memories of [link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xe4MGjaFJyc]this[/link].
And oh what happy memories they are.
lol @ the BoSox. Just remember, they lost two of three to the Pirates.
Big LOL @ Boston
Are the Red Sox claiming the Yankees tanked?
