Due to my complete failure to pay attention to my Gas/Electricity bill and ensuring I pay enough each month to cover the cost of said bills I have just found out I owe Powergen.........£254.20

I never thought to increase my monthly payments when my daughter was born (The missus being home more etc...) and as a result I have just been stiffed in a BIG way :(

I'm feeling rather crappy about this as that money was a deposit for a nice trip to Tunisia next year for me and the family.

My missus will have my balls for this :_|

I think it's safe to say bills stink! [face_frustrated]

Don't pay it, just go to Tunisia and don't come back. Simple, live life been a moisture farmer on the Lars Homestead. I mean the owners have been dead since 1977.

Dude, it's not your fault, Powergen UNDERESTIMATE the bills.
I thought we were doing OK, paying about £50 a quarter, then the last bill was about the same as yours. I told the women at Powergen that it was a joke and I wasn't paying it.
It turned out, that coz they had been underestimating the bill over the last year, I had to pay them for it.

In future, when you get a bill through, get the numbers off the meter and phone them through for a 'real' bill.
It turns out that my wife and myself pay about £30 a month (with no gas), so it's not too bad.

I'm so glad I'm only 18 and don't have to worry about these sorts of things.

If you just rip them up, you don't have to pay them and there's no adverse consequences.

I'd be lethargic, if I could be bothered.

    I really have a bad case of C.B.A.syndrome (Can't Be A#sed).

Not as friendly as my lightsaber.

I know an ex-Baliff, and he's not a Star Wars fan.
He's been threatened with shotguns and all sort. Unless your light saber was real (and we know from another thread, they ain't yet)...you would lose your light saber and start walking funny.
