Whatever anyone says about the MMORPG Everquest, I credit it with near-curing me of my arachnophobia - having to melee big brown spiders bigger than my character went a long way to help me. I'm not completely cured, but I can stay in the same room as more than one, while at the height of my phobia, the best allegory for my reaction to a sighting, would be an "emergency beam out" in Star Trek: Voyager.
Right, Boromir', my last act on here, will probably be to help you out. Unless you are the Spider Whisperer, from first and second-hand experience, they are being attracted to your room for a reason. 1. Food - do you have a lot of insects in your place, eg. moths, tiny flies? 2. Moisture - my mate had a spider problem, until he got his flat (apartment) redecorated. The decorator found black mould behind his wallpaper, and said the moisture that led to it, and that it was creating, was attracting the spiders. So get a fan heater, or radiator, or one of those things that draws moisture out of the air - de-humidifier? *shrugs* See if any of that helps. Sithy
