Edmonton I have an idea for our next event...

Ok... Well after the success of the last event... Time for me to submit an idea.

Ok here it is.

Place: Silver City Edmonton

Time: December 13, 2002 ** (need to pick time)

Event: Viewing of Star Trek: Nemisis

Ok, okay I am a trekkie, you have seen it in my sig in all the time I've been here... And I HAVE to go on the first day! I will be coming in my uniform (please come in uniform or try to put something together)..

Well... What do you think?

Hey! I'm up for that if I'm not working, I'm a closet Trek fan. [TOS please]

I wonder if they can pull off the script I read 8 months ago. Lots of things blowing up so I'll surely be entertained.

No costume for me, though. Haven't worn Starfleet since 1979, ain't about to do it again.

 

Glad to see the interest... So Indigo are we going to make this official?

P.S. You won't wear our uniform ... Oh well I guess I will be the only "nerd" at this one

 

Well there is no problem in making it an "Official" FanForce event...

However keep in mind that LotR comes out 5 days after this movie, and we have been discussing that for awhile now, so that might be a little expensive for some.

Personally, I am looking forward to this movie alot too, so you can count me in...

Im down with seeing it to. Althought being this is a Star Wars fanclub, showing up in a Star Trek costume just seems wrong.

 

I'm going to have to skip this one. But I want to see pictures! Have fun!

I too haven't worn a Federation Uniform in a LONG time lol. I much perfer the comfort of my robes .

 

Somewhere I have a CLASS PICTURE taken of me in 1977...proudly wearing my Trek red shirt!!!!! Oh, the pain...

 

(chuckles about the trekkie discussions, then bolts out of room) Yep. This one's bred on Bantha fodder. Have fun, though, to all going.
