Oceania I have noticed a disturbing trend about Aussie justice.

    its a bit lacking in the sentencing department. Most judges let people off for wholesale slaughter of innocent people in DWI and car racing and other reckless acts. Its kinda sad to see a judge with more heart for the perp then the victim. I guess if your dead they don't care. If only you are alive they have to be nice and look you in the eye as a victim. Do you think as a victim you could get justice if you were a victim?

    I spent a day last week in court. (as a witness)

    I can honestly say by the time the case I was involved in came up, I was sick to death of hearing the words "diagnose" "mental health" and "defendant's circumstances".

    I'm sure the various assault/stabbing/hit by drunk driver victims felt so sorry they put these poor people through it all.
