    Wow, Jaya, this is amazing.

    I like to write like you did in this one--really getting in touch with the character's feelings. I find the writing style, using very few words, yet projecting something meaningful, beautiful.

    This is? very? bittersweet, Jaya. For a girl to lose her Master after getting pregnant by him, then be forced to live life on the run, and raise her child in secret? that's difficult. Then losing her daughter and son-in-law, and thinking she lost her granddaughter? ouch.

    And then the ray of light at the end in which Tahiri meets her grandma. :D
